Inventor
Inventor is 3-D design software, that is used to make shapes, assemblies, drawings, and animations. The software uses additive and subtractive methods to create these parts. This software is used to make 3-D prototypes, and see if the prototypes are ready for production.

MakerBot
What I Learned
Throughout the introduction of Inventor and MakerBot, I learned how to sketch, change dimensions, and extrude objects to make them 3-D. Although I struggled with some of the dimensions of certain objects, I figured out what mistakes I made and learned from them. I also learned how to take a file from Inventor to MakerBot. In MakerBot I learned how to take the object and prepare it for 3-D printing. When exporting and printing my object I learned how to take my file from the computer to the 3-D printer and print the object.
